Using Admin Custom HTML to decorate your page
Decorating your league
site using the admin panel can be as simple or fancy as you the league owner
wish to make it. To begin with log into your admin panel scroll down on the
left until you see League Site Colors. This
should bring you to a page similar to the picture below.

Find or create your
background image upload it to a photobucket account.
These can be created free at http://www.photobucket.com. Once it is uploaded
copy the direct link and paste it into
the box marked League Site Background Graphic. Next locate the
hexadecimal code for color you want your text to appear. Remember light color
text works best on dark backgrounds and dark text works best on light
backgrounds. For a list of codes you can go to http://www.help4gladmins.com/htmlhelp/HexCode.htm or http://www.help4gladmins.com/htmlhelp/colorcodes.html. You will then need to
enter the selected code in the box marked League Text Code. You may use
the same color code in the next box or pick two more slightly different colors
to enter in the next two boxes for link color and visited link color. Once
these codes are completed click the grey box at the top that says Set League
Site Colors and Background.
In a separate window view
your league site and make sure you like what you have so far. Make any needed
changes to the colors or background to improve the feel of the site. Once you have the background and colors the
way you want them you may move on to the next step in decorating your league
page.
Setting your league logo
is the next step in decorating your page you will need to design or locate a
logo for your league. Then load it up to the photobucket
account you established earlier. You
will then need to locate the link that says League
Logo on the left and click on it.

Copy the direct link to
your new logo from photobucket and paste in the box
marked League Logo Graphic. Click on the grey box at the top
that is marked set league logo. View your site once more in a separate window
to make sure it looks as you want it. If the changes do not show you may need
to hit refresh league site on left hand side of admin menu.
Refresh your window with the league page showing by clicking ctrl+F5 at same time. Once you have
this section looking the way you want you can move onto the next section.
Next you will need to
locate the Custom HTML link . In the top box
marked Additional League Links you may enter additional links your site may
need such as tourney page sites. You will need to enter these links in the
format <a href=”webpage addy”>
webpage name</a> your link would then look like <a href=http://www.help4gladmins.com>
Help 4 GL Admins</a>

When all your links are
entered into the box click on the grey box marked save league html to save the
customization. Then click refresh league site on the left hand menu. Click the
grey refresh league site button then go to your page refresh and make sure the
changes are showing as you planned them.
After you have entered
all your links you move on to the next two boxes on the page this is marked
upper custom html and lower html. These boxes allow you to place pictures chat
boxes slide shows or anything else above or below the standard html already on
the page. You will need to decide what you want in these boxes before beginning
you can find codes and templates for these items on the help4gladmins site
under html and templates. Remember to
save each change and check it as you go about building your site by using the
refresh. If you need farther assistance please contact great league support for
