Please Read the guidelines before entering the contest. Entering into the guidelines implies you have read and understood the contest and all related tos and tou. You will find the link to enter at the bottom of the guidelines.

• All league links and e-mail addresses must work properly or your page will be disqualified.
• We must be able to view your page to judge it. Make sure the entered url is accurate.
• Once you have submitted your page, please do not change it while the contest is in effect as all judges need to see the same thing. After the contest is over and winners announced you can change it as you desire.
• Pages will be judged on the following criteria. There are four sections, each worth 25 points:
  
  ( 1.) Functionality: 30pts.
  

  (a.)GreatLeague Links Present: All default Links of GreatLeague must be present and accounted for. These Links are required by GreatLeagues on all webpages. How you display them is your choice. 8 pts.
  (b.) GreatLeague Links Functional:This should go without saying but just in case some one wonders this will be checked what good is displaying the link if it does not work.8 pts.
  (c.)Non-GreatLeague Links Functionality:Whether to add additional links is the leagues choice, but again if they are displayed on the site they should be functional. 5 pts.
  (d.)Scripts Functionality:Anything used or displayed on the site should work properly for the site to be fully functional. Non working scripts can be frustrating for your members fix or repair them. 5 pts.
  (e.)Multibrowser Functionality:Not everyone uses the same browser sites should look and feel good in at least two of the four most prominent browsers (internet explorer, firefox, opera, netscape.) Since Firefox and Internet are the two most used on most leagues you should aim for these two at least. 5 pts.
  
  

  ( 2.) Appearance: 30 pts.
  

  (a.) Theme: Does the theme of the page fit the theme of the contest and all components work together to build the theme. 6pts.
  (b.)Color Scheme: do the colors work well together. Are they compatible or do they clash. 6pts.
  (c.)Placement: Are Items on the page placed in a manner that is pleasing to the eye. 6pts.
  (d.) Originality: Are graphics and ideas original. 6pts.
  (e.) Personalization: Is the page personalized to the league. 6pts.
  
  

  ( 3.) Ease of Use: 40 pts.
  

  (a.) Load Time: Players all have different internet connection times the faster a page loads the less frustration for players on connections such as dialup. 5pts.
  (b.)Readability: If the lettering is two small or the colors aren't visible against the background this can be frustrating for your players. 5pts.
  (c.)Clean and Clear: Cluttered pages are a distraction to players.Can some things be linked off the main page. 5pts.
  (d.) Content: Is the content relevant to the overall goal of the league. 5pts.
  (e.) Organization: Is the information on the page organized in a way that will make it easy to find for new members. 5pts.
  (f.) Html: Is the coding concise and accurate,as well as, easy to update. 5pts.
  (g.) Fit to Purpose: Does the page serve the purpose of recuiting and maintaining memebers as well as the default purpose of allowing tourneys to exist. 5pts.
  (h.) User Friendliness: Is this a page that new players and those low on computer skills will find easy to use. 5pts.
  
  

• Any pages or layouts that are stolen from a site or league and copyright credits removed and/or changed can lead to automatic disqualification.
• None of the judges of this contest are eligible to enter.
• If your league's page was designed by a judge you will still be allowed to enter providing that the judge is not a member of your league. That judge will not be allowed to judge his/her own work.
By entering this contest you acknowledge you have read and accept the guidelines set forth and agree to accept the final rulings of the judges.
